Puttery Day

Had a little sick baby girl home today! Annalee hasn't felt very well since last Sat so I figure this was a stay at home and rest day.  Its always healthy to catch up on some much needed sleep!
Spent most of the day watching movies (Andy Griffith, Into the West) snuggling on the couch. We managed to squeeze in some chocolate chip cookies too! Hopefully she will be much better tomorrow!

I also managed to make some homemade vanilla yogurt today.  If you have never made homemade yogurt, don't feel intimidated to try it! It is so delicious and EASY to make! Go to The Frugal Girl and click her FAQ button and you will her find her recipe there! I personally think her recipe is the best one out there and the most easy to follow. Not to mention her whole website is great!

She has plain and vanilla. I used the plain recipe because Paul and I like it that way but the kids like the vanilla  so I tried the vanilla last time and now I am hooked! Yummy!

Then, as if chocolate chip cookies weren't enough, I had to go and make a Banana Chip Snack Cake!  Well what else was I suppose to do with bananas that were getting a little ripe??  Thats right! I don't like to waste things!! HaHA!!

Well, the big kids just got home from all of their after school activities, so I need to go check on dinner.  So there you have it! A puttery day with a sick lil' girl.

Thankful for Beautiful Sunshine, falling leaves and bright blue skies today!!

My.My.My.

Is it already that time?

What happened?

Did I just fall asleep for 18 years?

It feels like a power nap.

Im still rubbing the sleep from my eyes.

I will let you know if I'm still dreaming or if this is in fact 2011.

Just give me a minute or two.

Or 5......or.....100 days.

I love you D!

New Blogger App!

So exited to see Blogger has a new app for the iPhone. You see, I have been so bad about posting because I like to use new pics for my posts. Our computer is so loaded down with pics I have been lazy about getting them on an external hard drive or stored onto cd's.

So now I can take pics wig my iPhone and post them right then!! Yeeehaaww!!

Now let's see if I can actually do this!!

Have a wonderful November day!!

Half Our Lives

This month will mark the 19th anniversary of mine and Paul's marriage! On the 21st of this month we will have been married half our lives.  We both turned 38 this year and it is quite sobering to think that you have been with someone over half your life.  Wow!

This is Paul and I on our first date. (naw...just kiddin")

This is the secret to our long and happy marriage.  He sings to me by the campfire everynight.  Yep. Sure does. (naw...jus' kiddin')

I really, really love this guy more than you know.

I love you, Paul!

Happy Anniversary month!

....And the two will become one flesh.  So they are no longer two, but one.
